New Found Glory participa en el soundtrack de la película InAPPropriate Comedy con el cover de “Blitzkrieg Bop”. En el tráiler de la película se puede escuchar un adelanto de la canción.

Toby Morse (vocalista de h2o) tatuándose el retrato Joey Ramone. Dice que The Ramones fueron la primera banda punk que escuchó y le robaron el corazón; por ellos es que se metió de lleno en el punk rock.

Ayer me llamo un amigo a contarme que llevaba 4 meses trabajando, que ya había madurado y que por eso ya no jugaba fútbol.
Me dejó sin palabras.
¿Qué tiene que ver una cosa con la otra?
La verdad no entiendo q tiene que ver madurar con dejar de hacer las cosas que a uno le gustan como jugar fútbol, ir conciertos, los videojuegos, etc.
Tengo otros amigos que dicen que ya maduraron y que por eso ya no van a toques punk. No logro entenderlo.
Claro, con el tiempo uno crece, adquiere obligaciones, deja de hacer algunas cosas, pero…
Si madurar significa volverse aburrido, prefiero no madurar!

No matter what generation you’re from, if sounds of The Ramones, The Cramps, The Misfits, Beastie Boys, or Bad Brains (to name a few) have ever graced your speakers, then you’re most likely familiar with the name CBGB. In 2006, the doors of the legendary punk club and birthplace of the American punk movement officially closed, and for 6 years, the name continued only on re-printed Ramones posters and the t-shirts of young punks, becoming little more than a reminder of an awesome scene that was known by many but experience by few.

Well, there’s no excuses now.  This year, the scene will be resurrected in the first annual CBGB Festival. The music portion is set for July 5-6th with over 300 acts, old and new, hitting venues all across New York City. A few acts on the lineup have been officially announced, including a free show on July 7th with Guided By Voices and Cloud Nothings. 

In the calming words of The Ramones, hey, ho … let’s go.
